The Friends held a work day for about an hour before our board meeting August 12 at the Deronda parking lot. As you can see, we had a great crew and after getting some of the sweet clover cleared out, the native plants are doing great!
New project starting it Amery, thanks to a donation received by Polk County Parks Dept of 24 rose bushes. We are open to ideas of how to incorporate these into a larger beautification project at the Amery Trailhead.
