Trail is Graded and Ready!

S7LST is freshly graded, compacted, and ready for the summer use!

The road route from S7LST and the Gandy Dancer State Trail and Interstate Park had been designated and will have signs posted soon.

The Trail has a lot of bird activity.  Four different types of warblers, Trumpeter Swans, Sandhill Cranes, many Bald Eagles have been spotted.

Deer and a pair of Fischers have also been oberserved.

The suckers are running in the creek by Lotus Lake creating a great meal for the Bald Eagles and the Turtle are moving now looking for a place to lay their eggs.

Beware of the Snapping Turtles. Their necks can stick out a long ways!
